About Toncognito

Toncognito started after one too many conversations where someone was surprised, genuinely surprised, to learn that a wallet address they had posted publicly months earlier tied their entire transaction history together. Not because anything bad happened. Just because nobody had ever explained it to them plainly.

This site is that explanation, written the way it should have been written the first time: no jargon stacked on jargon, no fear tactics, no assumption that you already know what pseudonymous means. Just a clear account of what is actually public on TON, and a short set of habits that give you back some intention over what you share.

Toncognito is not a security company and does not sell a product. It does not run ads and does not accept payment to recommend a wallet. The site is reader-supported through the occasional checklist or dispatch people choose to receive, nothing more.

If you came here worried, you can leave a little less worried. Most of this is about small, ordinary habits, not emergencies. We would rather help you build a few of those calmly than sell you a reason to panic.
